Is Gov. Bryant a racist? asks a state leader. Perhaps "insensitive" is more accurate.

Bishop Ronnie Crudup of New Horizon Church International in Jackson speaks about Gov. Bryant, President Trump and the opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.

Does Bryant's hosting U.S. President Donald Trump to the opening of the museum signal that the Governor is a "racist"? Crudup says no. Is the Governor "insensitive" to the state's blacks in this matter? Crudup says yes.

Still, says Crudup, tomorrow's event is another sign that Mississippi is moving forward!

Mississippi Matters welcomes Bishop Crudup as a regular contributor. Mississippi Matters is committed to presenting truly thoughtful commentary from a wide array of top Mississippians.
