A Dr Pepper Christmas
It was the night before Christmas, and I just got kicked out of my house. “Go find something better to do,” my mom said as she shut the door. I muttered a curse under my breath. It was freezing cold and she expected me to find “something” to do. I decided that standing in front of the door would just turn me into a popsicle, so I decided to take a walk to keep myself warm. I was lost in thought, thinking about what I wanted for Christmas. It probably took 30 minutes before I realized that I was lost. We had recently just moved into the town of Doktur Pepper, so I had no idea where anything was. I kept walking until I found an intersection. The sign read “Pepper Dr.” Since I was lost anyways, I decided to turn right onto the street. Once I took the turn, a sudden fog came out of nowhere. I stumbled upon a crack in the sidewalk and lost consciousness when my head hit the pavement. When I woke up, I was in my bed in my house, but something was different. It smelled like… Dr Pepper. I rushed into the kitchen, and I became filled with shock. There was a human-sized Dr Pepper can cutting carrots with a knife. It heard me walk into the kitchen and turned around. I had no idea what was going on, but the sight of a Dr Pepper can without a face staring at me was enough to make me bolt out the door. I looked around me, and I screamed. Everything was made out of Dr Pepper. The rain was made out of Dr Pepper. Cars were empty Dr Pepper cans with Dr Pepper people inside of them.
